Lovers Quarrel
Rocel: Gab, where's Akhi? Bakit hindi kayo magkasama umuwi?
Gab just ignored her and continued to walk towards our room.
Rocel: Hey big boy don't you ignore me. Tinatanong kita.
At dahil doon sumagot si Gab in a calm voice.
Gab: Ross I really don't wanna talk about it right now.
Rocel: Oh gosh. What could've went wrong in a date at an amusement park that made you like this?
Gab: Please can I just have some peace of mind alone ....? Please?
Hindi tuloy makapagsalita si Rocel. With Gab's reaction she's confused as to how she'd react so just like that she just let Gab be on his way.
Pagpasok ni Gab sa kwarto dumiretso sya sa higaan nya at natulog.
An hour later dumating kami nila Alyssa, Celine and Cherry.
Rocel: Oh? Bakit kayo ang magkakasama nila Akhi?
Cherry: Long story Ross, for now let's just give Akhi some space.
Their gaze just followed me as I walk towards the room. Rocel's hands are now planted on her hips as she spoke
Rocel: Could you at least tell me if nag away sila ni Gab or hindi?
Cherry: Okay but can we please take a seat first?
Rocel: Oh! Sorry about that. Tara.
She gestured for them to take a seat.
Cherry: Sya nga pala this is Celine and Alyssa.
They got introduced and after that in-explain nila everything that happened.
Rocel: *Sigh* Typical. Actually it's shallow. I mean hello? I'm sure Akhi didn't mean to hurt him in that way. He's more concerned.
Celine: Exactly what I've been trying to tell Mr. Tampuhin.
Cherry: Anyway, please just take care of them both. Ikaw lang maasahan ko dito Ross.
Rocel: I got them bessy.
Cherry: So I gotta be on my way na. I think this is gonna be a long night.
Alyssa: Kami rin ni Celine uuwi na. Nice meeting you Rocel.
Celine: And you know I really admire your friendship guys. You look out for each other kaya we hope we can be a part of it.
Rocel: Sure. Nice meeting you too.
Cherry: Okay goodbye.
Alyssa: Bye.
Celine: Bye.
They all left the house and Rocel was left alone in the living room then suddenly lumabas ng kwarto si Harold at lumapit sa kanya.
Harold: Hey there.
Rocel: Hey...
Harold: I just wanna say I'm sorry kung may nagawa man ako sa'yo the other night. I was really drunk at di ko na maalala mga pinag gagawa ko.
Rocel got a feeling of relief pero at the same time she kinda wished he remembered the kiss. All these feelings are mixed up inside her.
Rocel: It's alright. We both got drunk and nag enjoy din naman tayo pareho.
Nagkibit balikat si Rocel, then they both just stared at each other. After a while they both smiled.
Harold: What?
Rocel: Wala. Natatawa lang ako sa'yo. You failed to defeat me.
Harold: Oh you're the queen alright. I'm never going to challenge you like that ever again.
Rocel: Nga pala, we have an even bigger problem.
Harold: What is it?
Rocel: Mukhang magkagalit nanaman si Gab at Akhi.
Harold: *sigh* Hayaan na muna natin sila.
*Inside our room*
As the door closed I just stood by it looking at Gab. I feel ashamed na di ko sya in-acknowledge na boyfriend ko kina Alyssa and Celine. I kinda understand why he's so upset. After a few minutes just standing there lumapit ako sa higaan ni Gab. He's already asleep.
Akhi: I'm so sorry Gab. Hindi ko na uulitin yun. Miss na kita agad.
Then I went to my bed and went to sleep. Narinig pala ni Gab ang sinabi ko. He was just pretending to be asleep to avoid me. An hour later tulog na tulog na ako. Tumayo si Gab at lumapit sakin. Hinaplos nya braso ko. Umupo sya sa gilid ng kama ko habang nakatagilid ako facing his direction. Maya maya pa niyakap nya ako at hinagod ang likod ko. Then bumalik na ulit sya sa higaan nya and went to sleep.

It was 6:30am when I woke up. I took a bath, got changed and took everything I'm gonna need for work. Gab is still asleep. I remembered dapat pala ihahatid nya ako to work. Pero hinayaan ko nalang syang matulog and decided I'm going alone.
Pagdating ko sa resto nagtaka ako kung bakit sarado. I checked even the back doors nakasarado din.
Akhi: What's going on here?
Maya maya pa andun pala si Aaron at the side just smoking. I rolled my eyes and as I was about to walk away he spoke.
Aaron: Why are you here?
Then napairap ako sa kanya and he looked at me.
Akhi: Obvious ba? I'm here to work.
Then humarap sya sakin.
Aaron: Oh Akhi you're so focused in your love life that you forget everything else out here in the real world.
Akhi: I don't care what you think!
Aaron: Akhi, care about it or not, wala tayong pasok today. Didn't my mom announced that we're gonna be closing up for 2 days last saturday because of family traditions?
And then I remembered that it is. Oh gosh maybe he's right. I'm so focused about my relationship with Gab. So I went home nalang and I just glared at Aaron and walked away.
Pag uwi ko sa bahay dumiretso ako sa kwarto. Gising na si Gab and he was changing his clothes. Mukhang nakaligo na sya. As I entered we just looked at each other but never spoke. Then I proceed to my side of the room and also got changed. Then he spoke
Gab: Bakit hindi mo ko hinintay? *galit*
Akhi: Sorry. Mukha kaseng pagod ka kaya pumasok na ko. Anyway wala din naman pasok today.
Gab: *Sigh* Just so you know, I'm still really upset. Kaya hindi muna tayo mag uusap. I won't talk to you anymore so don't talk to me.
Kaya hindi na ako sumagot. Maya maya pa while I'm still changing kumunot noo nya at humarap sakin.
Gab: Bakit hindi ka sumasagot?
Akhi: We're not talking nga diba?
Then natigilan si Gab. Obviously hindi nya ineexpect na babalik kaagad sa kanya iyon.
I went out of the room to cook our breakfast and after that I called everybody for meal except Gab. Andun na sila Rocel and Harold for about half an hour and they're about to finish up when Gab came out of the room to join us.
Gab: You're already having breakfast and you never even called for me? *looking at me*
Akhi: We're not talking nga diba?
I smiled teasingly at him. Gab's reaction was priceless. Gusto nyang sumagot pero di nya magawa. Rocel and Harold saw that kaya natawa nalang sila silently. Nagkatinginan kami ni Rocel and she was giving me a thumbs up.
After breakfast nasa sala na ako. I was exchanging messages with Cherry, Alyssa and Celine. Grabe sobrang nakakatawa ang mga convo namin. They were trying to comfort me. I was literally laughing like I'm crazy. Gab noticed it and then hindi sya naka tiis then he asked me.
Gab: Sino naman yang ka text mo at kinikilig kilig ka pa?
Akhi: We're not talking nga diba? Hahaha
I continued laughing and then he just sit on one of the couches and murmured angrily
Gab: I was just about to watch T.V. see if I care! Malandi!
Inirapan ko sya. Naramdaman nya siguro yun kahit nakatutok ang tingin nya sa TV kase napa smile sya like he was feeling an accomplishment getting my attention from that remark. Maya maya pa while smiling at nakahawak ang remote sa kanang kamay nya, nakakambyo naman kaliwang kamay nya sa harapan nyang naka umbok para asarin ako. Then I also murmured:
Akhi: Malandi pala ha? Sige. I'm gonna open my Grindr and PlanetRomeo account. See if I care.
Sya naman ang napatingin sakin ng masama when he heard that. Just then nag beep ang Grindr ko and I got a message. I opened it and waved my phone facing him and then walked towards our bedroom. His glare followed me while I walk away.

Tanghali na and I was done cooking lunch and once again kumakain kaming lahat sabay sabay sa hapag. Kumuha sya ng dalawang baso and he poured some juice into them and he placed one of it malapit sakin on his left side and the other on his right side. Akala ko para sakin iyon. Just when I was about to pick it up and drink kinuha ito ni Gab at sya ang uminom. Then I said:
Akhi: What the hell Gab?!
Gab: We're not talking nga diba? Hahaha
Aba'y nakaganti ang kapre. Tawang tawa si Rocel samin ni Gab. Sinaway sya ni Harold to tone down kaya tinakpan nalang nya bibig nya. Si gab naman nakangiti at pa sayaw sayaw pa na parang ang saya saya nyang makapang asar.

It was afternoon at naka upo lang ako sa may bakod sa likod ng bahay namin. I decided to try smoking so bumili ako ng cigarettes at lighter just to release stress. As I was lighting it up sakto naman lumabas din si Gab sa may bakod at lumapit sakin
Gab: At kelan ka pa natutong manigarilyo?
Akhi: We're not talking nga diba?
Gab: Enough with that Akhi!
Inirapan ko lang sya then I continued. Pagkahigop na pagkahigop ko nakaramdam ako ng matinding pangangati ng lalamunan at umubo ako ng umubo na para bang nabilaukan sa laway.
Gab: Hahaha. Yan na sinasabi ko eh. Feeling tough ka kase. Ayan inabot mo.
Akhi: *Cough* *Cough* well sh*t! *Cough* I really don't like this. Gosh! It's terrible! *Cough3x*
Gab: There there...
Lumapit sya sakin at hinahagod ang likod ko habang ako naman ay ubo ng ubo.
Gab: Look, I won't pretend anymore. I miss you Akhi. Magbati na tayo.
Then sumandal ako sa gilid nya.
Akhi: Thank goodness Gab. Hindi mo lang alam but I'm really hoping for that before the day ends.
Gab: Ang hirap din kase kapag horny ako tapos wala ka. Di ganun kasarap pag kamay kamay lang. hehe
Hinampas ko sya sa tagiliran.
Akhi: Gab?!
Gab: Hahaha! I was just kidding! Pero it's half true.
Akhi: *Sigh* Okay I get it. Let's go back to our bedroom and I'll give you one.
Gab: Yes! Hehe tara.
Excited na pumasok si Gab sa bahay at ako naman ay sumunod. Nauna nang pumasok si Gab sa kwarto. Before I could enter lumapit sakin si Rocel.
Rocel: You seemed to have reconciled ha?
Akhi: Yes we did.
Rocel: Well I'm so happy to hear that. Natural lang naman sa relationship ang ganito so try to be as calm as possible.
Akhi: Thanks Ross. How about you Ross? Bakit di mo pa sagutin si Harold?
Rocel: Ha?! Eh hindi nga ako nililigawan non!
Akhi: Hahaha! Gotcha! So ineexpect mo na manligaw sya at sasagutin mo din sya if ever?
Rocel: Ha?! Wala akong sinasabing ganyan!
Akhi: Ganun narin yon Ross. hahaha But I must say, seeing you kiss like that made me realize one thing.
Rocel blushed and gestured for me to tone down at baka marinig ni Harold
Rocel: And what is this realization?
Akhi: Na bagay pala talaga kayo ni Harold.
Sabay pisil ko sa pisngi nya at pumasok na ako sa kwarto. Nag blush si Rocel at napa tulala lang doon. Sinusuri nya ang sarili nya kung anu ba talagang nararamdaman nya para kay Harold. Then maya maya pa nagulat sya dahil nasa likod na pala nya si Harold nang di nya namamalayan.
Harold: Hey Ross? Bakit nakatulala ka jan sa pinto ng kwarto nila Akhi.
Rocel: Ah! Wala. May iniisip lang. Sige na papasok na ko sa kwarto ko at matutulog.
Harold: Hapon palang ha?
Rocel: I'm still young and younger generations still need to sleep in the afternoon.
And she walked towards her room and entered. Sumigaw pa si harold so she could hear.
Harold: Hey ross, you're already a young adult, just so you know.
Rocel: Just shut up Harold!
Tumawa nalang si Harold and went to the backyard to do some gardening.
